2 Refer to persons and their dependants who have been admitted to Hong Kong through various admission schemes for talents and capital investors. Such schemes include, but are not limited to, the Top Talent Pass Scheme, the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme, the Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates, the General Employment Policy (GEP), the Admission Scheme for Mainland Talents and Professionals (ASMTP), the GEP and ASMTP (Technical Professionals Stream), the Technology Talent Admission Scheme, the Admission Scheme for the Second Generation of Chinese Hong Kong Permanent Residents, the Vocational Professionals Admission Scheme, the Capital Investment Entrant Scheme and the New Capital Investment Entrant Scheme.
The personal data you provided to the Labour Department and its commissioned service organisations will be used for matters related to processing your application under the Re-employment Allowance Pilot Scheme and its related purposes. The provision of personal data is voluntary. If you do not provide sufficient information, the Labour Department and its commissioned service organisations may not be able to process your application.
The Labour Department may transfer your personal data to other relevant government bureaux/departments/organisations in Hong Kong (including service organisations/providers commissioned by the Labour Department) for scrutinising participants' eligibilities and information provided by the participants, provision of relevant support services, scheme administration and publicity, conduct of survey and study, and handling other related matters.
You have the right of access and correction in respect of your personal data provided in Sections 18 and 22 and Principle 6 of Schedule 1 of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
