Points to Note before Online Document Submission

  1. This webpage is only applicable for registrants of the Re-employment Allowance Pilot Scheme (the Scheme) who have been assigned with a registration number to submit documents and information relating to the Scheme. If you have not registered for the Scheme, please click here to register.

  2. Please get the following documents ready before filling in the online form:

    • Completed and signed "Participant Declaration", "Employment Report Form" or "Re-employment Allowance Application Form"
    • Other supporting documents (if applicable), e.g. wage record, attendance record, Mandatory Provident Fund contribution record, employer’s written confirmation or "Employer Declaration", etc.
  3. If you need to report more than one employment, you should submit one Employment Report Form for each job.

  4. The time span allowed for submission of documents online each time is 15 minutes. Please complete the submission procedures within the time limit. If the submission session is timed out, all information entered or files uploaded will be reset. You will need to re-enter relevant information and upload the corresponding files again.

  5. Please refer to the following requirements to prepare all the electronic copy of the documents. Please ensure the submitted copies are clear and legible.

    • File size: 6MB or below for each file
    • File format: PDF, JPG or PNG
    • Colour depth: Grayscale (for documents without photos); Colour (for documents with photos)
    • Number of files: 5 at maximum.
  6. When all documents are ready, please follow the steps below to fill in the online form:

    1. Read and agree with the Personal Information Collection Statement
    2. Enter your date of birth and the last 4 digits of your telephone number as provided when making the registration for the Scheme for authentication
    3. Enter your English name, contact telephone number, email address (if any) and select the type(s) of document(s) to be submitted
    4. Confirm you are an eligible participant of the Scheme
    5. Click "Select File" to choose the file to be uploaded (please refer to point 5 of this Points to Note for the detailed requirements of the e-files), then click "Upload"
    6. If more than one file is to be uploaded, click "Add" and repeat Step 5.
    7. After uploading all files, click "Submit".
  7. Upon completion of online submission, you will receive a confirmation message with a reference number. If your browser is closed before redirecting to the confirmation message page, the submission will be considered unsuccessful. Please submit again.

  8. Please record the reference number and quote when making enquiries in future.

Personal Information Collection Statement

Purpose of Collection

The personal data you provided to the Labour Department will be used for matters related to processing your application under the Re-employment Allowance Pilot Scheme and its related purposes. The provision of personal data is voluntary. If you do not provide sufficient information, the Labour Department may not be able to process your application.

Classes of Transferees

The Labour Department may transfer your personal data to other relevant government departments / organisations in Hong Kong and/or service organisations / providers commissioned by the Labour Department for scrutinising participants' eligibilities and information provided by the participants, provision of relevant support services, scheme administration and publicity, conduct of survey and study, and handling other related matters.

Access to Personal Data / Enquiry

You have the right of access and correction in respect of your personal data provided in Sections 18 and 22 and Principle 6 of Schedule 1 of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
