Nowadays, more and more enlightened employers are willing to employ people with disabilities as the majority of them possess genuine working abilities. Upon suitable training, disabled employees can perform jobs of various types and become valuable assets of your company. An equal employment opportunity from you also helps people with disabilities support themselves and integrate into society.

What services can I obtain from the Selective Placement Division?
|

|
You can place your vacancy orders at the Selective Placement Division. Our placement officers will then match your job requirements with our job seekers' profiles to ensure that the most suitable ones are referred to selection interviews. We will also provide you information on the rehabilitation resources in the society where appropriate. Three months' post-placement follow up service will also be rendered to ensure that the disabled worker settles smoothly in the job.

Do you charge for the recruitment service?

All services provided by the Selective Placement Division are free of charge.

Where can I find out more about special transportation service for disabled employees?
|
 |
|
Most public transport in Hong Kong offer special service to the disabled. In addition, the disabled may consider using the Rehabus service. Further information can be obtained at Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation. (Tel. : 2817 8154, Fax.: 2855 7106)

Do I need to register at your website as members in order to use the web services?
|
 |
|
Currently, the majority of our web services (e.g. viewing job seeker's profile, hottest posts, etc) can be accessed by both members and non-members. Once registered as members, however, employers can link up their vacancies with their company records, which enables them to retrieve and amend the vacancy details efficiently when necessary. Furthermore, only employer members can submit online requests for interviewing selected candidates. When posting vacancies, members' basic information will be retrieved automatically, thus saving time used for data input. If you have not yet registered, please join us.

How can I register at your website?

To register, please select "Register Now" in Employer Zone. Follow the registration procedures as stated in the Interactive Employment Service and we will process your request as soon as possible.

I am already a member of Interactive Employment Service, do I need to register at your website again?
|
 |
|
Employers only need to register once in either the Interactive Employment Service or the Interactive Selective Placement Service to utilize our recruitment service. You can use the same user name and password in using the services of both websites.

How should I select my Login Name and Password?
|

|
Select Login Name and Password that are easy to remember since you have to input them every time you login.

Can I change my Password?

|
You can change your Password at Interactive Employment Service.

What can I do if I forget my Password?
|

If you forget your Password, please click on the "Forget Password" button on the login page of Interactive Employment Service. Please input your Login Name and we will send you your Password through email later.

Posting Vacancy and Candidate Search

Do I need to register at your website as members before I can place any job orders?
|
 |
|
Both registered and non-registered employers are welcome to post jobs at our website. However, if you have already registered, you can save some time in filling in the Vacancy Order Form in the future as your company information will be retrieved from our database automatically. You can also link up to vacancy posted for reference or amendment when necessary.

How can I post a vacancy?

If you are a registered employer, please go to Employer Zone and select "Post Vacancy", fill in the vacancy order information and submit the form to us. If you are not yet registered, please select "Register Now" and follow the registration prodedures. After registration, select "Post Vacancy and submit the completed vacancy order form to us. Alternatively, you can download our Vacancy Order Form for filling and return the completed form to us by fax or mail.

How can I update my company record?

You can update your company details any time you like. Simply login Interactive Employment Service using your Login Name and Password and choose "Update Profile". You can then update your record. Finally, click on the "Confirm" button. The amendment will be effected by us as soon as possible.

How can I remove a vacancy after it has been filled?
|
 |
|
Please let us know by choosing "Amend/Cancel Vacancy" after you have linked up your vacancy. Upon receiving your request, we will update your record as soon as possible. If you have not registered in our website, you can still contact our regional offices for amendment.

What is "Monthly Highlight"?
|
 |
|
"Monthly Highlight" is a brief profile of selected registrants at the Selective Placement Division. It is compiled and updated monthly to provide an easy reference for employers who wish to employ disabled employees. Using "Candidate Search", you can also fine tune you searching criteria and obtain information of many other suitable candidates.

How can I search for suitable disabled candidates?
|

|
Apart from viewing the "Monthly Highlight" in Employer Zone, you can also make use of "Detailed Search" and "Keyword Search" under the "Candidate Search" session. You can enter your selection criteria such as required education level, experience and skills and candidates matching your specified criteria will then be displayed.

How can I organize the search results?

You can organize your search results based on the education level, expected salary and years of experience. You can specify the sorting criteria before or after each search.

How can I contact a suitable candidate found in your website for interview?
|
 |
|
If you have already registered as a member, you can submit online requests to us for arranging interviews with selected candidates. You can check on the boxes next to the candidate descriptions found on the page of search results and then submit your list of candidates to us by clicking on "Submit". Our placement officers will contact you and the job-seekers to arrange job interviews as soon as possible, or you can fill in the vacancy order form, fax it to our regional offices and let us know the reference numbers of candidates you wish to interview. Alternatively, you can register now and enjoy our employment service over the internet.
